Propagation peculiarities of Hemerocallis × hybrida hort. growing under conditions of South Coast of the Crimea

Abstract

The article covers study results of vegetative propagation of Hemerocallis × hybrida hort. collection growing in Nikita botanical gardens under conditions of South Coast of the Crimea. Qualitative and quantitative differences of innovation shoots of collection cultivars were revealed in terms of the research. Besides, qualitative parameters of planting units were also identified here what is necessary for various purposes such as: propagation and getting maximum amount of planting stock of a certain cultivar and use in landscaping trying to get ornamental effect in short terms. Ways of proliferations establishment in water and soil mixture were considered in the investigation as well.
