The experience of some Clematis L. cultivars propagation by lignified cuttings
Abstract
Some special features of vegetative propagation with lignified cuttings in 20 Clematis L. cultivars have been studied on the base of Nikita Botanical Gardens - National Scientific Center. Positive effect of rooting stimulators (heteroauxin, Kornevin and zircon) on rooting percentage was noted. It was found that successful cutting depends on the cultivar features in Clematis. Seven most promising cultivars for this propagation method were selected among the studied ones.
