Gardening group “Siberian Irises” in the Botanical Garden of Peter the Great BIN of the RAS. Perspective of using in landscaping

Abstract

In the collection of the Botanical Garden of the BIN of the RAS one of the oldest collections of the garden group "Siberian Irises" is grown. On the basis of a differentiated estimation of decorative and economic-biological characteristics, varieties were identified that can be recommended for use in landscaping in car parks and petrol-stations in the North-West area with a minimum of agricultural practices.
